Fraudulent Debit/Credit Card Charges
It has come to our attention that some of our members have been targeted by a fraudulent company attempting to authorize a $0 charge to their debit or Visa credit cards. While the amount may not be concerning, it is important to address this attempt to access your account. Please check your debit cards and call us right away if you receive an authorization in any amount that you did not initiate.
How To Protect Yourself
You can protect yourself by staying vigilant and checking your debit and credit cards often. The best and most convenient way to accomplish this is to use our MMCU Card Control app or DX Mobile, available in your app store.
If you receive a debit authorization that you do not recognize, please call us at 618-254-0605 or chat securely with us via our website at www.midmembers.org.
If your Visa credit card has been targeted, please call the Visa fraud department at 1-844-414-8064 and reference the case # that appears in the text alert message you will receive from Visa.
